The Projekt is the new top of the line shin guard from Warrior. Warrior has used a new foam call Zote foam. This is a new kind of foam that does a great job at absorbing impacts but is also extremely light. Warrio has also narrowed the shell in the lower calf and added additional HD foams to reduce weight, without compromising protection. The projekt has also used a thin Trampoline effect to offer better protection, but does not stick out far from the leg. Since you leg sits deep in the pad it does not feel like it has much 'swing weight' when your skating.

The Warrior Projekt hockey shin guard offers a great lightweight feel and excellent advanced level protection.
Warrior has given the Projekt their top of the line Ventilator liner. Which has a antimicrobial treatment and moisture-wicking properties. Warrior used a two-piece strap system to secure the leg. The inner strap is a 'Y' design and located under the calf wrap crossing the calf and just under the back of the knee. This helps lock the leg deep into the pad. Warrior has also used a large strap on the calf wrap to better secure the pad calf wrap.
