Position

KickZone is developed to provide an increased whip-effect meaning that the shaft when bent is kicking back faster and thereby hitting the ball with greater power - creating an increased ball speed.

TipCurve is exactly what the name suggests - a curve at the tip end of the shaft creating an optimised angle towards the floor surface and the ball - resulting in harder shots without having to bend the blade heel part or customise the blade hook.

Powered with Salming's new Sniper blade.

Stick Length
The correct length for your Floorball stick is determined by a combination of your height, position and playing style. An easy rule deciding which length to use is that the top of the stick should reach your belly button or 1 to 2 inches above it. A short stick will give increased ball control and allow for quick movement around the court. A longer stick will give more power on wrist and slap shots and increased ability to poke check the ball away from an attacker. Consequently, attacking players tend to use shorter sticks than defenders. Below is a simple chart for determining approximate stick length based on your height.

Height / Shaft Length
4'3" and under (130 cm) / 65 cm
4'3" - 5'0" (130 - 150 cm) / 75 cm
5'0" - 5'6" (150 - 170 cm) / 85 cm
5'6" - 6'3" (165 - 190 cm) / 95 - 100 cm
6'3" and over (190 cm +) / 101+ cm

Blade
The stiffness of the blade influences ball control, passing accuracy and shooting power. A soft HDPE blade is easier to shape and form enabling you to perform those air tricks! A soft blade also increases ball handling ability and shooting and passing accuracy. A hard PA blade provides more power to shots and passes.

Shaft Flex
The flex is a measure of the stiffness of the shaft. A lower number results is a stiffer shaft. The strength, position and technique of the player largely determines what is the most suitable shaft flex. Typical shaft flexes for males players range from 28 mm to 23 mm. Top level female players most often use 32 mm to 26 mm flex shafts. It is recommended that junior players play with a shaft flex of 30 mm and below.

Shaft Profile
This is the shape of the shaft and is largely determined by personal preference alone. Oval and square shafts most closely resemble a hockey shaft shape. Half semi oval provides the oval shape for the top third of the shaft only.

Shoots Right
The left hand is located on the top of the shaft and the right hand is positioned lower down on the shaft. Shooting is performed to the right side of the body.

Shoots Left
The right hand is located on the top of the shaft and the left hand is positioned lower down on the shaft. Shooting is performed to the left side of the body.
