Mission has used a compression design to keep the pads close to the body and in place during play, without restricting body movement. The Thorax features foam and plastic pads ensuring solid protection. The plastic in the side hip pads are especially nice if you are taking a big hit. Mission has also designed the pad to allow you to remove each of the pads. This allows you to customize the fit and number of pads, as well as remove to wash the product. The Mission Thorax girdle does not feature any upper hip or kidney pads, which is nice for players that want a smaller pad that still offers great protection.
